Path of Exile Item Upgrading

Upgrading equipment grants a bonus to the item's base stats. The bonus increases with upgrade component level and rarity.
Components
Upgrade components are the items that improve your armor and weapons more effective. You can get them from the destruction of enemies, finding them in spheres of items or purchasing them from karma sellers.
